Arrival: Pre-trek Briefing
If you have opted for the optional airport transfers, we will pick you up from Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport and transfer you to your hotel in Moshi.
Pre-trek briefing at your Moshi hotel. You should be planning to arrive at least one day before the start of the trek. Today we will spend in having a pre-trek briefing. We will also review your equipment and rent any equipment which is needed.
Your day begins with a scenic drive from Arusha to the park, where you’ll embark on a game drive through diverse habitats. Keep your camera ready as you spot wildlife grazing in the grasslands or resting in the shade of acacia trees. Midday, enjoy a picnic lunch at a picturesque spot overlooking the Momella Lakes, where flamingos often gather. After lunch, continue exploring the park, with optional activities like a guided walking safari or a canoe ride on the lakes. As the sun begins to set, return to Arusha, reflecting on the day’s unforgettable sights.
